Re: An old article about "the Lost Princess"
I spent a day with her and Jean-Paul when they lived in Vegas. We had lunch at the Bellagio and tea at their very nice, but in no way exceptional house. They certainly had no financial problems at that time. She had this huge SUV, het Porsche with license plate DAPHNE, the camper and a boat. Marie-Christine relied in Jean-Paul for almost everything. He was her driver, her butler, her housekeeper and her cook, but I still she got the impression she was very much in charge. After that we corresponded for a while or talked on the phone. I remember her telling me she had been very ill. In her last letter to me she wrote about moving to Seattle, Washington, without giving me her new adress. When I finally found it my letters were returned unopened. I talked about her with Esmeralda who said she still phoned her sister from time to time. But I got the impression she knew very little about Marie-Christine's life and even less about Jean-Paul.
