I am trying to think of any other monarchy/principality in which the spouse of the ruler has/would give such an interview. This part in particular brought me up short: 'As for her place in the heart of it, even though the constitution doesn't recognise her, the Grand Duchess attests that "the monarchy is an 'affaire de couple'.""When I look around us," she concludes, "I think few would dispute that for Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and even Jordan, it's an asset to have a spouse who, with the head of the state, contributes to the influence of the monarchy." All of the monarchies she cites do have influential consorts who appear to work in partnership with their spouses, but (unless I am missing something) I have not noticed them giving this kind of interview, which certainly does not make the Grand Duke look very good.

Well, there have been lots of troubles over the past few years:longtime & loyal servants being sacked all of a sudden, then there was a Court Marshall who didn't fully agree with " The Lady of the House..." and who was replaced by a less outspoken person etc. etc.
Back in 2016 the Grand Duchess gave an interview (links in various languages in my post at that time

which Maria Teresa felt obliged to give due to all the rumours in the Grand Duchy and thus she wanted to 'explain' herself, which didn't work out quite well sadly enough!
Personally I am still very surprised the Grand Duke doesn't/didn't stand up to his spouse
