I am glad to see the battle commemorated. My father-in-law was one of the combatants, in the U.S. Army. He was an artillery spotter, flying in a Piper Cub. At one point, he saw a German plane fly by, very fast. It had no propellers. He had no context to realize what a jet plane was, so just radioed back that he had spotted a German plan without any propellers.

The Belgian Royal Couple and Grand Duke Henri participated this morning in the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Ardennes at the memorial of the mardason in Bastogne.
