Several Dutch newspapers mention the fact that Queen Wilhelmina tried to help the Belgian King & his fam. (captured & imprisoned by the Nazis) by suggesting her Minister of Foreign Affairs to contact the Vatican in this matter.
Queen Wilhelmina & the Belgian Queen-Mother (...) Elisabeth seemed to have discussed this issue late March 1945.
