At Sotheby's New York drawings of the collection of Dutch King Willem II will be auctioned this month. The most important item is a study by Peter Paul Rubens of a young, muscled man, that on its own might fetch some USD 2.500.000. Also in January Sotheby's London will sell other items, mainly china, of the royal house, a.o. a Lalique table garniture of glass tulips, in 1937 a present from the Dutch ambassadors abroad, for the wedding of then Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard.
