The King receives his annual dotation from the State and thus it is in fact taxpayers money which is used for the restoration !
If the costs turn out to be higher as expected I'm sure there will be a payrise next year, or parts of the restoration will be handled by some Ministery or other.
One wonders though if such private property and belonging to the O-N Collection can't be financed by special means (e.g. via the revenues from Museum Het Loo and its visitors or other means of 'side income'...??)
