King Philippe, Queen Mathilde and their children attended the 40th edition of athletics tournament "Memorial Van Damme" at the Roi Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. They were joined by prince Albert II of Monaco.
They congratulated the Belgian female team who were awarded the gold olympic medal for their 4x100 metres run 8 years ago at the Beijing Olympics - after the Russian team had been disqualified for doping a few weeks ago.
