This was actually a quite dark Knight tale. Marc shows his support for Eye For Eye Justice. In this case the Egyptian Jackal God has his avatar seek revenge on an extreme puppy mill atrocity gone even more wrong. Ironically, the blood and violence and coloring was noticably light compared to typical grim and gritty bloodfests have been these days.
Neat touches included the 'werewolves by night' reference. The fact that only MK could see the Gods present. The much more superhero friendly new costume change for combat missions. And the enjoyable, and too brief, Batman/Gordon dynamics MK had going on with Flint.
I miss Dad and Dan.
