I didn't touch the Bendis stuff, I didn't thnik Bendis was a good fit. Ellis is a PERFECT fit.
I like the done in one stories. I like visuals and the many looks of Moon Knight.
I don't see how this book can survive past 25 issues. It doesn't have mass appeal in this event flled X-MEN/SPIDEY/AVENGERS world, but it is a damn fine book.

: Okay so the issue opens up just as the
: previous two have, with Marc in the thick of
: things. It follows through with the
: succesful formula of, identifying the
: problem, developing course of action,
: solution, and then well he ends up wearing
: the much teased bird skull gear. Under the
: guidance of Khonshu Marc utilizes his vast
: collection of Egyptian armaments (assuming
: the were embued with spiritual strength) to
: combat the ghost punks, taking the
: "fight fire with fire" motif and
: running with it. The resolution is as quick
: and sweet as the "Sniper" had been
: and with very little dialogue during the
: confrontation (ghosts are poor listeners.)
: Personally this issue earned a B+ to an A
: where this series can still be even better.
: Ellis, Shalvey and Bellaire make these
: seemingly unbelievable situations relatively
: grounded while keeping it fun and fresh.
: They have also begun re-establishing Marc's
: modus operandi, favoring his ability to
: police the supernatural New York as a
: mortal man. With all of that said, I think
: the lack of a supporting cast outside Flint
: is ok for the moment as we can focus on Moon
: Knight's inner strengths and struggles. He
: is hardy and formidable by himself (enough
: to be recruited for The Watchers murder
: investigation). Other than the small scope
: so far, there isn't much more we need ask
: for in future issues.
:
: So what did you think of it?
