Hope you're wrong sir, if MK's new personality is a woman I will pretty damn annoyed. This is such a lame and disappointing way out. The gender flip is too stereotypical for those depicted with multiple personality disorder (for example one of Tara's mpd's was a man in the United States of Tara etc.).
I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but as a woman, I'd rather see male characters remain male and female remain female.
To me the gender swap is like using the "it was all dream" cop out. I feel Bendis is already copping out by relying on the Avengers.
Regarding Logan, as much as I adore the berserker Wolverine, Marc is far scarier and more violent than Logan even under the influence of Weapon X. Logan is part animal while Marc is a mentally fractured man, whose severely psychotic episodes are not good for bad guys or even those he loves. I could kind of deal with Logan, but I'd rather see Bendis create a completely new personality. That would show his understanding of the character and his skill as a writer.
I am on the fence with this current creative team. I am glad MK is in pretty good hands (enough to keep me reading anyway), but I would love for him to get the glory team.

: Mebbe it's just me, but looking at that cover?
: I'm pretty sure it's Echo who dies....and is
: the "new" personality. Just my
: opinion. I've been wrong before, but I'd
: just about lay money on it.

: I hope Marlene's not the one who gets
: killed.
: It seems likely, but that would suck. It's
: not even something they're building towards.
: After everything she's been through with
: Moon Knight (including his
: "birth") would Bendis bring her
: into the new series just to kill her off?
:
: I feel like he's underestimated Moon
: Knight's supporting cast over the years.
: Frenchie, Marlene, Gina/her kids, Stained
: Glass Scarlet, and especially Crawley. These
: are great characters! Why not use them?

: It's got to be Marlene who buys the farm.

:
: A NEW new personality or one of Cap, Spidey
: or Logan? If we're in "over the
: edge" territory, and it's an old new
: personality, we're probably talking Logan.
:
: So glad the series is not cancelled (yet!)

: I am so glad to see this. With all the
: Marvel

: was starting to sweat a little. Well at

: Well, based on the cover, now we know who
: will
: NOT die in #9. I guess that leaves Buck Lime
: and Marlene. I really thought it was going
: to be Echo.
