Not only that but he's gliding with his cape again, along with a classic swimming pool dive to secretly enter home base, so I'm nearly ecstatic. (That couple at the beginning could become new adversaries though - having a house bought out from under them... ouch).
I can understand complaints with the cartooniness of the art but for me personally, after the Huat run (which I felt was so bad it was openly mocking my favorite hero - and yes I know I'm pretty much alone on that), Bong certainly has my vote.
Marlene, on again. Can we stay on this time, please? 30-40 years of on again, off again is making me wish for something drastic. She kicks butt right? Let's try her out as a sidekick. Better yet, make her play the role of Moon Knight, including dealing with Khonshu, for a few months. Maybe she'll finally and fully support her man.
The Shadow Knight - I agree his intro could have used some more space; he was moved to zealotry for a god he'd never heard of before rather quickly, but I felt the issue as a whole was pretty well jam packed, so I can't really complain. I'm also glad, though I'm not entirely certain why, that MK's adversary has a super power. I'm even more pleased that it's an eye beam power as it sure seems Cyclops can't be the Only one (like Storm...does anybody else control weather?)
