Perhaps in the last issue it may have been possible to argue that Deadpool is supposed to be somekind of antithesis to what Moonknight currently wants to represent but this particular issue is little more than a gratuitous fight scene up until that final couple of pages.
As much as I'd like to say that quality writing should smash through poor or unsuitable art it doesnt and Huats art just doesnt carry the same tone as the likes of Opena or long associated artist Texiera.
The gadgets I'm afraid are a big issue for me, one because things like wrist parachutes are completely ridiculous and implausable and harken back to the bad old days of Marc Spector: Moon Knight but primarily because such gadgets are simply not in fitting with the character, his history or his motivations.
If MK is trying so hard to be such a good guy then why is he even carrying a sword at all? Nevermind the fact he's never carried one before, a sword is a tool designed only for killing unlike his more traditional baton or stave.

: I enjoyed the two issues.
:
: As I stated in a lower thread, DEADPOOL
: represents everything MOON KNIGHT is
: struggling not to become. And he struggles
: hard.
:
: As for the ending, I actually liked it
: (opinions vary). It was a morally mixed
: ending and I like those, especially in a
: vigilante themed book with the word
: "Vengeance" in the title.
:
: As for the gadgets...I don't make a big deal
: out of them. They don't get in the way of my
: enjoyment of the story.
:
: This story had action, some moral issues,
: character development through action...In my
: view, it was a more than decent story.
:
: With Spider-Man, we should explore the other
: spectrum of the Marvel Universe. What MOON
: KNIGHT aspires to become.
