The words are used today but the words are spelled how a lot of southerns say them. It takes some time to get used to it, but it is definetly worth the time. This book will enlighten and encourage all women.
I don't know if this will help or not, but I found that reading outloud slowly helped me to understand the first chapter. After that I was able to read silently with understanding.
