Posted by paul heidelberg if you have not read her remark ...the keyword rhymes with literati....that upset many folks back when she said it... check it out........but she had gusto and liked to play with words and that is what she did with this term. i am a member of the poetry society of america and i think it was a psa newsletter that detailed her last years,,,,working as a domestic,,,,dying poor..etc.i believe she was the first black graduate of barnard....had all this attention with the black renaissance in harlem and then had to end like that...... she would love all the attention she is getting now, i am sure..... we both have sites....present tense intended, as you live on through your art, at least you hope you do.....we both have sites linked at this site salud to you zora...you were wayyyyyy ahead of your time....
