I first learned of Ms. Hurston a few months ago while doing some research on the harlem renassiance. Having only been in a small way exposed to her genius I am nevertheless awstruck, amazed, and excited to read more of her material and learn more about her. I feel like I have discovered a great treasure, a bountiful gift that has been here all the time. Zora Neale Hurston is amazing, and I look forward to reading more of her work. It just makes me proud to have discovered such a treasure.
