There ya go Kelly, Thanks for the comment. Truly, your opinion of me dont amount to shit. I really dont wanna ride with anyone without heart, history, and respect.
Some of the riders have heart. Theres a few who still uphold respect on the highway. They will stop and ask if all is well when your parked beside the highway. There are some who will take ya in while the broken machine undergoes repairs. Those folks are real.
I have never left anyone with a stalled motorcycle, or a hood up on their cage. I always stop to lend a helping hand. As far as a planned ride----aint happenin. I tried that a few times. Just dont fit.
I am a veteran. I served my nation to insure our freedom. Freedom of speach, Freedom of choice, and freedom to move when and where anyone wishes. Im proud to be a VETERAN. I DO ride with pride on my home made motorcycle. I treat everyone I meet with respect. That dont mean I wanna ride with ya.
Independent solo bikers are hard to find these days. Those are the folks I might share a few miles with. No planned out rides---no need to have a destination. Free riders are the best folks to meet.
The motorcycle is one of our nations symbols of freedom. I do hope you take advantage of the freedom and ride till your heart is content. I also hope you have heart. Please, do not become another wannabe and pass up your fellow Americans broke down beside the highways.
I once rode with a "Winger" out your area. I saw a group of bikes taking a butt break and pulled over to ask if all was well. Them "Goldwing" folks asked me if I was crazy, cause I stopped. Bottom line is, all that radio communication, correct clothes, Johnny on the spot, windshield protection, retired Vet wannabe didn't have any heart. Although the Goldwing driver was packin a pistol, I believe my stopping for other riders scared him.
Im am about as mellow as they come Kelly. Im also quite independent. I wish you the best of luck finding other Veterans in your area who wish to ride with you.
Most city folk have no respect. Again I choose to be sorta rude and state that your opionion of me dont amount to shit. I am what I am. If you dont like it---swell.
Enjoy the ride.
