Ok then Spirit. When shall we begin this celebration of freedom???? Where are we gonna sleep???? Who's gonna feed the thousands of motorcycle riders who wish to admend this law????
I can already hear the radio and television advertising the mighty Mountaineer Motorcycle Rally occuring in Charleston on such and such dates. Are you Spirit' gonna pay for all that advertisment???? Who is gonna pay to feed the families while were all in Charleston????
You have a great eyedeer there Spirit. Might even get our point across. I personally have written my Senator and Representive and both have declined to even consider my thougts on the freedom of choice. With an added tax of 5 bucks a skid lid sold----the state cannot afford to change the law. Little does the state recognize that most skid lids are purchased out the state where prices are reasonable.
Park the bikes for a year. Show the state who pays their wages. Its getting kinda rediculious if ya ask me. Can't smoke cigarettes in public places----and they wanna make ya quit smokin in our cars. Seat Belts Mandatory. Highest fuel taxes in the nation. Also the highest paid legislators in the nation.
We have begged, moaned and pleaded with the state to repeal the helmet law since it went into effect. There is only one way to stop this crime on our freedom. Being as they refuse to listen to us, then us should just not ride.
Yes, I choose to call it a crime when the State of West Virginia denies each and every rider the freedom of personal choice. Were suppose to be a nation of, by, and for the people. I believe its a crime and total dis-reguard of the state to impose laws upon its citizens freedom of choice.
When my own state Senator and Representive both choose to not even consider my thoughts----then theres something bad happening in Charleston. A plain outright refusal by my elected officials upon my wishes----this aint right.
The lawmakers in Charleston know we cannot afford to attend their sessions for a couple of weeks in Feburary. Thats why they hold session in the dead of winter. They realize if they heald session in the summer, we would be all over them for weeks on end. Not only the bikers, but the farmers, business owners, and the general public would hear every word spoken in the great hall. Its the time of year they have choosen to pass into law what they deem correct for our society without the concent of the majority of our population.
Park the bikes for a year. Without the tax dollars as income, they just might get the hint.
