I hear him and his scooter has crossed county these days. I read his last finel fare=well post when he had left. I figured someday he and I will cross trails during a storm chase someday. Who know,s he may meet up with doopler radar on wheels someday are perhaps the infamious longtime storm chasing idiot jim leonard. I have been storm chasing for 5 years now and I Seen many bikers some good and some bad. Some think they own the road side parks which really belongs to 4wheels not two wheels. Oh don,t worrie I rarely post on this forum these days I just thought I would leave a quick message here regarding joe,s absence of leave. I take it he is clear across the county by now. I only hope the big texas bubblegum machines didn,t catch him smoking a joint at a road side park are perhaps catch him without the good ole helment. Here in texas we have what we call the texas helmet law you don,t have it you go to jail are pay a fine are have your scooter towed... As a proud storm chaser and along with a few other good storm chasers we stick with the law we don,t have veitnam flashbacks while driving we are trying to capture mother nature,s most best parts of nature we are trying to capture great vedio of tornadoes and all kinds of bad weather events. We use road side parks to rest not to blow a bobbie and to scare old rude happy camper,s. We love our hobbie just as the biker loves his. I recall the 1976 vacation we had up in the smoky mountains in tenesee I was a little bitty 11 year old in those days and I recall that nice county. I recall mom and dad feared about bikers as we stopped at a few road side parks. Oh but indeed I recall the three bikers that stood there with there bikes parked near the restroom blocking the doors! And they say bikers have changed these days?? MAYBE TO SOME EXTENT. Oh well I have to admit I did own a scooter when I was 13 it was a kawsaki 100 and I rode it around for many years in my local city got many tickets as well. Today I,am a storm chaser and I see many bikers still on the road. The one thing they have in common still is the long hair, berd and the evil grin. Not to metion those red flashing lights that are behind them to pull them over. Here in texas when you are on your scooter make sure you are going by the books of the law. If not spend time in a city jail and have a cheeseburger for lunch and then have some oddball to come bail you out. Our perhaps stand before the evil eyes of the judge. If not get your biking ass out of texas............yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
