Posted by LJ on 2/21/2006, 8:58 pm, in reply to "Coatings for metal???" I've been doin' powdercoat for 20+ years and would rather continue to do so but it has priced itself out of my budget! Powdercoating is FAR-FAR superior to regular paint! It's been around the industrial world for years, just look at your tool boxes, refrigerators and barbeque grilles, just to name a few... But like I said it's become too expensive not to mention that every Tom-Dick & Harry is doin' it now, and not all of them doing it well... It is hard to beat Powdercoating when it's done correctly by someone that's been doing it for a long time! The Rhino-Lining is "different", It has that "texture"! I like it! Some may think it's ugly but that's probably what some schumk said about the first extended front end or bobbed fender!!! Just my humble opinion! I'm psyched about the Rhino-Lining! It 'IS' different! But then so am I! It was $75 to do my frame and this shit is tough! It's all I expected it to be so far!
