Todd Thelen (Slinger PR/Marketing Director) stated that Trickle will be at the Nationals but NOT racing - will be signing autographs.
Given the fact he's closing in on age 68 coupled with recent health concerns, I think his short track/racing days are over, not forgotten though.
Bummer. I grew up watching Trickle racing at local tracks throughout WI and various ASA and ARTGO shows - I was hoping to see him on a WI short-track one last time. Nonetheless, glad he's making the trip up from NC to be on hand at Slinger.
