Hard to imagine a racing season without DT racing somewhere. It was hard for me to watch Bristol because places like Bristol reflect DT and what racing is all about. I noted that Sonny Immerfall died recently at the age of 80. He was one of the guys that I grew up watching in the 60s. I guess this type of thing has to happen, but when your heros start to fade, its a little tough to swallow. Our prayers go out for DT. The age of 66 is a little too young to lose him. It would be nice if Kenny Wallace or some of his other friends with constant media access would mention his situation. He attracted a lot of fans during his relatively short stay in the cup series because of his down-to-earth nature and seat-of-the-pants driving ability. God Bless.
