I've been following DT since Griffith Park Speedway in 1966. I thought maybe I could find someone in NASCAR to follow who could partially fill his shoes. I was considering Hamlin. But there is nobody on DT's level. He was never appreciated in NASCAR because he didn't fit the mold. I hope he's enjoying his retirement.
