Hello, for me once I got my corso there was no going back . I currently have 3 rotties as well as my corso and have had no major scuffles to date. The main thing is socializing these puppies from the moment you get them. Enter the puppy in puppu kindergarten and basic/advance obedience after that. This breed is smart and loves to learn. The main thing is consistancy. As for your daughter...I have no children but my niece visits often and Hemi is fine with her again the main thing is to make sure you expose and introduce her to the situation from the start. And don't limit it to just your daughter take the puppy to parks where there are children playing and running. Allow the children to pet the puppy but one at a time so as to not overwhelm the puppy. Praise for the desired behaviour (calm, relaxed, etc. while the kids play.) The best thing is to expose the puppy to everything you can think that they might have to encounter as an adult. Talk to your breeder about any of the concerns you have. They should be familiar with the lines and can advise you on what to expect. No question is stupid. Read up as much as you can before your puppy arrives and there are also some corsi forums that you can join that can offers experience from others.

Good luck and enjoy your puppy.
