I agree much time love hard work training and money goes into a quality breeding at 8 weeks its nearly impossible to truely tell if you have a show breed quality puppy that will mature into something worth breeding while this may seem unfair to you at this time i am sure if you research breeders and there lines health testing you will see that what they are doing is protecting the future of the cane corso. Go to petfinders.com and see how many corsi that end up in shelters everymonth week day there was a possible good intentioned breeders who just wanted to keep the options open just as your self . You have not said the amount of money they are asking for an option to keep breeding open. while cane corso can sell anywere from $1,000 to $5,000 thousand dollars only u know what you really want. i always suggest that a person look into adoption first and then to buy from a breeder. Please think long and hard there are so many homeless dogs that if u could save just one how wonderful it would be and you could do obedience and other fun great events for rescues. always remember that a puppy is a life long committment good food health care training love Good luck i truely hope you find the corso love of your life as i have marcia
