I am interested in making an addition to my family - with a cane corso! However, I have been getting more confused with each passing day as what breeder would be suitable and the variety of bloodlines etc. I looking for a corso that is healthy, stable temperament, and suitable for "working" (guarding, protection, however would also be a good family companion that would enjoy hikes in the country etc). I am not a novice dog owner as I have experience with another "dominant" breed - Akita’s (my Akita died a few months ago, which was devastating). I have been researching the corso breed, and have attended two dog shows that enabled me to gain more of an appreciation of the breed (I live in southwestern Ontario, in the country, and have been warned to be careful if dealing with some breeders in this area). Anyway, I will list some breeders which have caught my attention and would appreciate comments/feedback - to my personal email address amac1@excite.com (if anyone can recommend a breeder that is not on the below list that would also be great along with any advice about the breed etc):
- La Villa Del Cane Corso
- Cielo Blu Cane Corso Mastiffs
- Colosseum Shadows
- Scandifino Cane Coso
- Blue Steel Cane Corso
- Roman Cane Corso
- Bel monte Cane Corso
- Castle Guard
- Stonecroft
- Cane Corso de Italica Terrae
- Colossal Cane Corso
- Lonestar
I would appreciate a response to my personal email address amac1@excite.com (comments obtained will not be shared with others. In other words confidentiality will be respected and expected). Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
