Just to clear up some crap someone pointed out to me on The Liars, Cheats & Thieves Board for those of you who go there for your daily dose of laughter.
I rescued a dog from a shelter last fall. He was listed as a Corso (lmao...maybe a CC in "some" circles...not in mine ) Initially after doing some research I determined he may be a Boerboel cross...he isnt and is more likely a Dane X Lab. At 1 1/2 he weighs 110 and has a labbish like face but body structure of a Dane. I named him Nino (Spanish for little boy). At first, having absolutely no socialization (was kept on an apt. balcony most of his life) he was dog aggressive. Yup he did bite me twice, but after working with a REPUTABLE TRAINER (Pawsitive Attitude K9) he is learning what his previous owners neglected to teach him and has NOT bit me since last fall. As most of u know, with aggression in a dogs the likelihood of getting bit is high. Those who are clueless however cast judgement without even knowing what the HELL they speak of.
Nino, for those of u who truly care, and who wont attack me for bringng him into my home, is well on his way to being a happy, well adjusted member of society, and a loved and much welcomed member of my home.
