It is with great sadness that I am writing this post. I found out last night that Big Taurus Raptor passed away in Rankin Inlet after being ill for a few days. In the end, Raptor could not stand, get up on his own, or even lift his head. Noone knew what was wrong.
The owner called me up to fill me in.
That region of Nunavut was battered by a multi day blizzard, and airlifting Raptor to a vet in Churchill Manitoba could not happen. The weather is still storming there, even as I write.
A moment of silence for Raptor.
