Hello everyone!
I'm a former Rottweiler Owner, Breeder, Trainer. My last Rottweiler passed last march, and I haven't gotten over that as yet. My highest point was when I had 5, 3 males and 2 females. I made the early mistakes and eventually imported a Male from Germany. I don't want to get wordy here, I have a few questions about the Cane Corso's. I'm interested in getting back in the Schuthund training as I miss the environment. I wanted to try my hands with the Cane Corso as a challenge and something new. My prototype Rottweiler can never be replaced and I wouldn't do another Rottweiler justice, because I'd always be comparing. Based on my research these dogs seem to present an intersting challenge. I know pretty much about socialization and training a Rottweiler to be a family pet, working dog and protection dog. I'm a bit concerned about the Cane Corso because I currently have a 11 month old daughter. I haven't had a child this young around working dogs before. Any advise?
