I am the owner of two Cane Corso. I am a professional person, along with my wife. Its hard enough taking care of all the bills, vet visits, and things like that, on two incomes. I cannot imagine someone on social assistance having a Corso. I go through a lot of food. My male eats 8 cups a day. My female eats between 4 and 6. Not just some terible food (as I see it) like no name brands, but high energy high protein food. Even supplementing with real meat once or twice a week, into the food. How cane a person on social assistance even think they have the resources to provide for this wonderful breed.
I have just found this website and have found some very interesting reading.
I thought I would throw it out. I have a Corso from Dualie and Misty from Big Taurus. His name is Rex. Healthy hips, great temperment, and at no time backing down from anything (not the norm for Norm's dogs, but this one is well trained). Here is a link if you want to watch.

Here Rex is being tested by a dog trainer that has never met Rex before. It was a situation where I was walking along and this masked man runs out of nowhere with a hockey stick. Rex passed with flying colors. Like I said, he's a BT dog but not the normal BT temperment, or drive.
As well, I have a female from Stano's Ultimate, by the name of Prada. She is also a piece of work. Very drivey, and no fear. Here she is at three months.

This girl is now 6 months old, and OB training is going well.
Looking forward to having some more discussions with you guys. Talk to you soon.
