Posted by Betty Osing In mainstream breeding, producing dual sire litters is a very acceptable practice. Our choice to go ahead with this breeding was done for several reasons. Samba (Dam) has been bred several times to Caesar but has only ever whelped one puppy, Ebony. She is turning out to be a very nice b###h and so we wanted to attempt a repeat breeding but we wanted pups out of Roscoe as the sire of a litter with Samba as well. Samba is one of THE hardest b###hes to get in whelp (we have tried several times but to no avail) and so we felt, because her age is also getting to be factor, a Surgical AI would be the best opportunity for her to carry puppies. We are blessed with two very healthy Sires and Both of the boys have exceptional semen. DNA samples were sent to the AKC and the puppies have also provided samples that have been sent. Everyone knows that you don't make money at breeding and so what is an extra couple of hunderd dollars for DNA Testing! Ken, I take exception to your comments that we would put a statement up on our website 'just for the public'. You don't know us.....what have we ever done to make you believe we won't stand by what we say? I'm sorry if your general experience with other Cane Corso Breeders has obviously made you 'jaded'. Please do not lump us in with those that do not practice ethical dog breeding. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at bbosing@platinum.ca and I would be more than happy to answer them. Sincerely, Betty Osing

Although I really don't feel the need to defend our breeding practices to you, because you have expressed 'interest' I will explain the reason for doing a dual sire litter.
