About pictures , I have taken a few but shared them privately. Pete , you're gonna find out that the only person who'll ever appreciate your good dog is you ...a real good dog will cause you to lose some friends and if you're lucky enough to hang on to the real good dogs you come across they will test what kind of hunter you are and why you hunt more than you could believe ...a really good dog will teach you more in a short time than a hundred culls in a hundred years. If you ever walk into a dog that has worked up a cold track , stratched tooth and nail to stay with an old boar coon and get him treed in some massive oak tree or out in the middle of a slough waist deep looking up then you'll know why a picture can't capture that moment and you'd break a man's camera for him if he tried to take a pic of that dog you put so much of yourself into barking on a caged kitten . You can say you know that and you know this ...but you still gotta learn it .
