Mr. Curt How are you doing ? , I haven't been on line in a long time because I have been hunting very hard. I t is are white tailed deer season here and I have been after them every day from day light to dark, when it is deer season I don't even work just hunt. I did take out a few hours to eat a little turkey on Thanks Giving Day . My family takes hunting very serious and the Thanks Giving meal is a short one just a long lunch really then back to the brush it might not sound like much of a tradition to some people but it is ours and it has always been that way for us . On the other hand my in-laws were not as understanding about hunting al day even on Thanks Giving Day , they thought that they could change my mind about it but I didn't budge and after a few with out me they now have it after dark so I can be there . I love to hunt deer so much that I cant even sleep good for about a week before season starts so if I were to set in a house all day and watch foot ball and parades I would be very hard to be around and probably like Cully is when I leave him home to work young dogs ( jumping and bighting his kennel as I load dogs up and drive out of the yard) , ya that is what I would be like if my family was out hunting and I was in the house . But I see there is a new board and I here that the old one is going , that is ok I guess all good things come to an end . I like the this old board and I will miss it , Mr. Hennery Johnson told me about this board a long time ago before I even really new what in the hell the internet was . I guess I had an idea but I new nothing about it and I had never seen it work. He told me over the phone and I had to write it down I didn't even know what I was writing down but I did . I took it to my brothers house because he had a computer and said hay help me find this web site . He said web site what are you talking about ( I was trying to talk like I new what I was talking about LOL ) he could not believe I was taking time to mess with the computer but once he herd it had something to do with dogs then he got it ( my new interest ) . He looked at what I wrote and said this is not write and I said ya it is just type it in and it will work , it did not . So I called MR. Johnson back and told him I needed the address again because I messed it up the last time and he gave it to me again , I drove strait to my brothers house and once again it was wrong . This happened a couple of time and then Mr. Johnson said give me your e-mail and I will send you the address , I told him I didn't have an email but I would get my brothers and he could send it to him. When I talked to my brother about it he said just get your own and have him send it to yours , so he helped me set up an E mail address ( I thought you had to have a computer of your own to have an E mail , like I said I knew nothing about it ) . To make a short story that has become to long begin to end I will say that I got an e mail from MR. Johnson ( my first e- mail ever ) It was a short letter and the address to this board and I loved it , I could not believe what I was seeing all these people writing about there dogs and experiences with them . That first night I read every post from top to bottom and by the time I got to the top there was more to read it was great. For a long time I just got to see the board once in a while and every time I did I would read it from top to bottom and then I learned how to post and that was fun to ( even though my spelling was and still is atrocious ) . I can give credit to MR. Johnson and this board for getting me into the computer age before that I had know desire to have any thing to do with them , if it weren't for them I would have never surfed the web . A lot has changed from then to now on what I know about computers ( not that I know a lot now ) but I can at least get around a little and I do have e-mail ( a regular hacker ha LOL) and it all started because I wanted to read this board so I will miss it but like I said al good things come to an end but some times it is for something a lot better , I think the new board will be one of these things so I will be there .
