Interesting SPH. I am not a coon hunter but did notice that the big ones tended to get in the brush with a tree sitting right there during the day. They get in the brush and just dare those hounds to come in after them....which I have seen also. Hounds tok a darn good beating them trying to drag them out to. Another thing it is common to tree during the day is foxes. Seen a lot of daytime foxes treed as we have greyfoxes here.
