Both parents are pretty solid and bring “vigor” to the mix. Why hybrids? 1. Offspring expected to have a better coat than either parent breed. What does each breed bring to the mix? High Fight drive High defense drive Protective, Short, easy care coat Stoic Sensitive The breeds are more similar than dissimilar which makes it easy to get good offspring out of them. The biggest advantages I see are: better coat than either, the Dobe contributes comlpiance yet we get more stoicity from the Dale. Both breeds will benefit by the others influence and no downside exists to the mix. A dog of high intelligence with a desire to comply which can; hunt, do water work, protection, SAR, agility etc... should be the result. Let me know what you think and if you'd like to try one out. 2. Breeds are complimentary in color, general appearance and function.
3. Both are proven police/military breeds.
4. Each breed although great, have extreme traits that will be tempered by the mix.
