I was in the 2nd Dog the same time as your brother. I did not know him but there is no doubt we were in a lot of the same fights. It was a bloody dangerous time. At this time of the war we were almost all Regular Army and not draftees. We took our chances. We also killed a lot of VC. Helicopter assaults, sweeps through rice paddies and jungle, patrols, hot moist weather - rarely dry in the field. I'm glad you remember your brother, pour a cold beer on his grave sometime - he'd appreciate that. It's been over 40 years now. He's at peace, I hope you find peace.
