No... it's not bad at all. There's stress involved but the actual process isn't that bad.
If you want to make it easier for yourself, make sure you do really well your last year at camp. Then you might feel a little less stressed about whether or not they'll let you in.
But don't ask me... I don't actually know how to make the process easier to take.
The application part's pretty easy.
