I have checked out my Victorian indexes and found some information on your Eliza Wills.
There was no doubt about the fact Eliza and her husband moved from Clunes to Shepparton.
First of all her father was John Wills b 1845 in Cornwall, England, and her mother was Victoria Prout b 1855 in Avoca, Victoria. John died in Shepparton,Victoria in 1917. Victoria also died in Shepparton in 1943 ( Reg no.16382 )
They were married in 1872 at Clunes, Victoria.
John and Victoria had the following 5 children :
John Henry Wills b 1873 in Clunes, Victoria.
Richard Wills b 1875 in Clunes, Victoria.
ELIZA WILLS b 1876 ( Reg no.14970 )in Clunes,Vic.
William Wills b 1878 in Clunes, Victoria.
Arthur wills b 1885
Between 1878 and 1885 no other births could be found on the Victorian Pioneers Index 1837-1888.
Eliza Wills married Isaac Pierce Kerr somewhere in Victoria in 1898 ( Reg Vic marriage no.4269 )
A marriage certificate is required as this will give the exact location of where they were married as well as other details.
Isaac Kerr was born in Edenhope , Victoria in 1875.
The father of Isaac Kerr was John Gardner Kerr born in 1855 in England. The mother of Isaac Kerr was Amelia Stripp ( haven't found where born and what year )
The Kerr family of Edenhope were quite large so one would need to check out the Victorian Pioneers Index for 1837-88 to copy all the details.
The above information will enable you to begin your family research. Regarding the marriage of Eliza Wills and Isaac Pierce Kerr and their 5 children Hedley, Una, Ronald, Elva and ( your mother ) Jesse, I haven't followed up as to who they all married as I assume you know all that.
However, let me know if you need more info or you could check out the births, deaths and marriage records at your nearest Genealogy Section found in many Library's around Victoria and other States.
Better still,if you happen to live in Victoria I would love to see you at our Wills Convention coming up soon on the 7th March at Collingwood Town Hall. It is on between 10am and 4pm. On the day I can guide you in the right directon and the quickest way to find info.
