This rare native is currently in flower in the woods to the NW of Ingatestone, Essex. The plant in the Lonicera understorey of Quercus woods at TL623015. It keys out nicely using Stace, displaying obtusely serrate bracts and hairs only on the angles of the flowering stems. In flower 27th May 2012.
If you do visit the site, please park respectfully nearby and don't trample the plants!
