Thanks Colin, I spotted the following:
Beaconsfield (Bucks) 15th January, Hounslow (West London) 13th January, near Russell's Water, Henley-on Thames (just about in Bucks...!) 16th January. Also a couple of Prunus serotina bushes in the latter location were getting into full bud and should be out soon with the current mild weather. However, here in western Kazakhstan it's -16°, blizzards are forecast for tonight and tomorrow, and all plants are nice and dormant. Tim
