Thank you so much for this further information and extra locations for Trifolium bocconei in Cornwall.
It's very interesting that the plant does occur in the Cadgwith area as I did look around there this year, but from the sounds of it, was not far enough along the coast and, as it was in July, rather too late in the year!!!
I did, however, spot tsome specimens of Trifolium incarnatum subsp. molinerii (that colour was fairly unmistakeable) - so I guess I can claim some success.
With all this extra information, I will now definitely be set up for my return trip.
