I was hoping someone could help me out with some information on Wisley Common, with particular regards to the range of alien Crocus species said to be naturalised there
According to Clement & Foster's Alien Plants of the British Isles, C. chrysanthus (Golden Crocus), C. kotschyanus (Kotschy's Crocus), C. speciosus (Bieberstein's Crocus)& C. serotinus can all be found here, and judging from other naturalised crocii I've come across lately they should be in flower just about now.
I'm completely unfamiliar with the area, though, and looking at the satellite map on Google it seems to be a formidable area of ground for anyone lacking more detailed information! I'll be very grateful for any help anyone can offer
