Dear All,
On Sat 13th December I am teaming up with the National Trust warden Jerry Page to do habitat management for the Fringed Gentain at its single UK site in the Chilterns. Any helpers out there would be most appreciated. Anyone with a brush cutter would be most welcome but if you don't have one there will be plenty of raking up of grass clippings to be done and pitch forks to remove the cut grass.
The management we did for the species last year paid off with two flowering plants reported this year. Jerry has told me 200 sheep are on the site at the moment which are doing a great job. Anyway if you can make it then please let me know.
