http://www.bbk.ac.uk/ce/environment/ The Ecology and Conservation Studies Society/Birkbeck have organised six free public lectures this autumn about the significant and increasing impact that climate change is having on UK wildlife. National experts will discuss phenology – the timing of natural events, and examine impacts on British plants, animals, and on terrestrial and aquatic habitats. Adaptation and mitigation actions to maintain maximum biodiversity in open spaces and the environment will be debated.
