Have found a shrub about 6ft tall in damp woodland in Berkshire. Shrub is deciduous, palest cream tiny star shaped flowers, five petals, about quarter inch across. Upright, stalked clusters about 4 inches long. Leaves are 4 or 5 lobed "hawthorn like" shape, alternate up the stems. Leaves lighter on undersides and finely hairy under a lense. Any ideas as to what this shrub may be would be welcome.
