The flowers certainly look right for Clematis hirsutissima, and there is quite a large variation in the leaf-type from lanceolate to pinnate so this can't be relied on as a distinguishing feature. The habitat is right as well. Do you have any close-ups of the flower? The distinguishing features are that it is very hirsute.
