Posted by Peter Llewellyn on 3/6/2007, 9:23 pm, in reply to "Skye Flora & Marsh Lousewort" Yes, March Lousewort can have darkened foliage and I have seen it coloured dark purple like you say. It is a tall plant unlike Pedicularis sylvatica which usually stays low on the ground.
