Posted by Steve Gale on 15/2/2006, 2:09 pm I intend to leave my cosy south-eastern corner of England in late June/early July and embark on a two-week botanical foray of 'The North". Having not even looked at a daisy north of Watford I am hoping that members might be able to suggest some sites that I should strongly consider visiting. Ben Lawers seems to be an obvious one, Teesdale another. I'm more interested in getting a good cross-section of northern species rather than undertaking a five mile walk to a particular scree slope in search of one mega rarity (although saying that I do rather fancy seeing Twinflower!). Any help would be most appreciated.
