Cant sleep so here it goes
Who gives a flying shit if the LM are scheduled at OSS and IS on the same date. News flash...IS lates have not and will not come to OSS and OSS lates will not go go IS. It is what it is 1/2 cars Vs. 1/4 mile cars. Nobody has the time or money to race every F'n weekend, let alone convert the cars back and forth every week. Cant anybody comprehend that! Lets say in a perfect world, IS and OSS run Latemodels on different nights. 12 races at OSS and 12 races at IS. How has the money and time to run 24 races a year. Hello! Plus if a IS latemodel comes down and runs at OSS(AKA #93) and breaks the track record. Well hell "who let him run? He is to light, his shocks are Illegal, his steering wheel is a different color." How many IS or OSS regulars have made a trip to the other track? Not many. And the same goes for Superlates. How many OSS superlates regulars have run at IS on Off nights? Manke,White,Edwards,Kimele thats all I can think of. and how many IS regulars have run OSS on Off nights. David Ross and Roger Brown are about the only I can think of. Face it Any division that runs on the 1/2 mile at IS, those cars will not come over to OSS until/If the track is made bigger. Work on Ponys/legends/Bando/Figure 8's, these cars can go from IS to OSS with very little changes req. But forget the whole Superlate and latemodel dream. If you want to get IS cars to OSS and Visa Versa. Put on a 5 race series at the end of the season between the tracks. Different Purse and point system. 2 at IS, 2 at OSS. the last race to be determined by home track of the point leader after the 4th race. Maybe that will draw interest. Anyways thats it.
This was typed with absalutly no beer. Had way too many last night.
