I don't post much, but enjoy reading this board. Went out to the races tonight and was a little bummed by the number of cars. However, the races were solid and kudos to Rod Proctor not only for helping to get the show together, but for also putting together such an amazing run.
As I talked to people in the know, I heard that the people at Irwindale changed their final Outlaw race of the year, next week, to a double points race with the specific intention of hurting the field at OSS. I also heard the OSS people were going to try to get another class of racing out as a demo, but that the Irwindale people also interfered with that.
If this is true, and I have the utmost faith in the sources of this information, then this just bugs the hell out of me. We need all the race tracks we can get, and one track intentionally screwing with another is just stupid.
Anybody else have any insight on this?
