And just who would most benefit from the farm workers going back to work?
How about every single American household. Where do you buy your groceries? Where does that fresh fruit come from? Are you growing it all in your backyard? If not then we NEED those farms to have water to grow crops. I haven't seen any crops grow without water.
People mistakenly take their food supply for granite. Your hamburger doesn't come from McDonalds, it comes from many suppliers. The guy who raises the cattle, the guy who grows the wheat, the guy who grows the tomato - lettuce- pickles. The guy who grinds the wheat, the baker who makes the buns.
Things don't just miraculously appear on the grocery shelves. They COME from somewhere.
What would you do if the store shelves where empty. How long would you be able to feed your family.
What about fuel for your vehicle. It comes to your local gas station via trucks. What if there wasn't any gas at the station for weeks.
We live in a very blesses nation - - lets not screw it up.
